Introduction to the project.

In this project we will be looking at an elliptical staircase containing four flights.

We will look at the different stages of drawing elliptical stairs, from the area that can be used as the stairwell to the overall look that is to be achieved.

Each flight is similar in layout but there are a different number of rises and goings to each flight: To adjust for the different floor levels while keeping the pitch of each flight as close to each other as possible.

The flights are continuous terminating with a Monkey’s tail at the lower ground floor.
